Group Therapy

You are not alone. 

   Group therapy can be a very beneficial tool to people struggling with any aspect of life (mental health, physical issues, social dynamics, life challenges, transitions, or other issues).  

   It provides an opportunity for camaraderie, being there for yourself and others, exposing yourself to different perspectives on similar situations, and checks you in for accountability. There is magic in giving and receiving support, it increases your self-confidence and self-esteem, as well as allowing for self-discovery and developing compassion for self and others. 

   In other words, Group Therapy helps you realize that you are not alone, acts as a support network, and serves as a safety net. Listening to others can also help you see your own problems in perspective.  ​

  I have experience leading teen groups covering real life situations, academic and social-emotional development, stress and anxiety, life transitions, gender fluidity, fertility struggles, adoption support groups.
